Challenge

Welzorg faced two key challenges related to training new technicians and maintaining a diverse range of assets. Firstly, training new technicians to provide high-quality maintenance and repair services for Welzorg’s wide range of mobility equipment requires a significant investment of time, resources, and expertise. With so many different types of assets and complex technologies involved, it can be difficult to ensure that technicians receive comprehensive training that prepares them to diagnose and resolve any issues that arise.

Secondly, maintaining a huge variety of assets can also pose a significant challenge for Welzorg. With so many different types of mobility equipment to manage, it can be challenging to keep track of each asset’s maintenance schedule, ensure that all necessary parts and supplies are readily available, and respond quickly to any unexpected issues that arise.  Welzorg came to Recreate to ask if we can help them to build up a workinstruction library they could manage themselves and could be accessed via a mobile device.

Out-of-the-box solution: Dynamics 365 Guides

Welzorg found that Dynamics 365 Guides was the ideal solution to meet their requirements, as it provided an out-of-the-box solution that was a perfect fit for their needs. This user-friendly tool enabled Welzorg colleagues to create their own content and seamlessly integrated with their existing IT architecture, which heavily utilizes Microsoft technologies. Recreate was instrumental in guiding Louwman through the implementation process and provided train-the-trainer training, empowering Welzorg to create instructions independently. Within a four-month timeframe, Welzorg successfully created 300 high-quality instructions, and the tool has been rolled out to their entire service technician team. Currently, 75 field service engineers rely on this data to solve issues quickly and efficiently, making the project a resounding success
