Flamco designs and manufactures expansion vessels, refill automats for heating and cooling; safety valves, pressure gauges, connection groups and other appendages; storage vessels, boilers and expansion vessels for hot water systems; deaeration and dirt separator equipment; fittings, mounting materials and valves for solar systems and hanging pipes

Challenge
Flamco is currently finalizing the movement to a new facility, and you can imagine that this will cost a lot of effort from the Flamco Technical team. New production lines need to be installed, tested, and supported during the first period of production. Flamco was looking for a solution to how the technical team and/or Supplier can remote be supported

The best solution for Flamco was the Microsoft HoloLens 2 in combination with Dynamics 365 Remote Assist. The HoloLens 2 gives them a hands-free experience and allows the technician to add content to his reality. User Manuals, technical drawings and more can be visualized via the HoloLens 2 to give the technician all the help to solve an issue. Flamco will also use the HoloLens 2 and Remote Assist to call suppliers in case of any issue with the production line. With this technology suppliers can react much quicker, and they will be better prepared than ever in case they need to travel to Zeewolde.
