How Welzorg Implemented Dynamics 365 Guides

for Field Service Training

Welzorg Nederland, part of the Louwman Group, a respected family-owned business, has been a leading provider of mobility aids and services in the Netherlands. With over 25 years, over 500 employees and operating in more than 50 locations across the Netherlands, their goal is to increase mobility and self-reliance for their clients. 

Welzorg offers a wide range of tailored services including the provision and maintenance of wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other assistive devices. They also adapt homes and vehicles to meet the specific needs of their clients and help them lead more independent lives. The work closely with over 100 Dutch municipalities under the Social Support Act ensuring that essential mobility solutions are accessible to those who need them. Welzorg is truly dedicated to improving the lives of their customers through their service and quality. 

The Challenge

Welzorg faces challenges when it comes to training their technicians. That is because of the sheer variety and complexity of the mobility aids and the technologies they work with. Their advanced products require specialized knowledge and hands-on expertise. This type of diversity means that no two service calls are exactly alike. Also, the technology is continuously evolving so technicians must always stay up to date with new systems. To ensure consistent and high quality service a scalable and adaptive training approach is needed.

The Solution – Dynamics 365 Training in Action

To address this challenge, Welzorg worked with Recreate to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Guides for training.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Guides is a mixed reality application for Microsoft HoloLens. It is designed for interactive and step by step work instructions. It supports operators by delivering holographic instructions exactly when and where they are needed. By using this tool, it allowed Welzorg to modernize technician training and to make complex procedures easier to learn and replicate.

A key part of the project was the train-the-trainer training Recreate provided. It allowed Welzorg to independently develop and maintain their own training content. The impact was significant and within just four months Welzorg successfully created over 300 high quality and easy to follow instructions  for their complete field service team.

Th Dynamics 365 training  software not only accelerated onboarding but also improved service consistency and knowledge retention across the organization.
