In Europe, ConDoor Door Solutions is a leading producer of insulated overhead doors for industrial and residential buildings.
In three production locations in the Netherlands (Zeewolde and Emmen) and Hungary, every day approximately 450 people work on the development and production of tailor-made doors that completely satisfy the end user’s wishes.
An extensive network of independent dealers delivers our quality doors (under their own name!) to companies and house owners in 25 European countries. A hyper-modern production line and extensive automation in the area of R&D, production and administration contribute markedly to the quality of our product.
Even so, ConDoor still believes that people are needed to supply and deliver doors.
Challenge
Due to the huge number of options, ConDoor can make it sometimes challenging for a customer to visualize the possible door options. Currently, a ConDoor customer has to go to a ConDoor dealer to do the configuration of a door together with a sales rep. ConDoor wants to give the customer the option to already start exploring doors at home without the need to go directly to a dealer. Configurators of competitors are static and difficult to understand for the non-technical customer. ConDoor wants to get a competitive advantage in the market and they requested Recreate to make a user-friendly, highly visual, and easy to usethe configurator to inform customers better than ever before!

Solution:
Recreate created a configurator allowing customers of Condoor to select/configure the door they want. The configurator is built to directly visualize the selected option, so the customer gets a good overview of the selected product. In a couple of steps the customer selects the size, style, color, and options. In the last step, the customer can select a picture from a library or upload their image allowing the solution to visualize the configured door in a “real-life scenario”. At every step in the process, the configuration can be changed easily to assure the customer can create the door he wants.
