Challenge
Photonis nightvision has to work in many different circumstances, such as lunar phases, weather types, locations and different incidences of light. To train soldiers in the air and land forces with nightvision requires high investments. It was not possible to train in multiple situations and locations simultaneously with Photonis’ nightvision, Recreate has changed this.

Photonis can simulate all lunar phases, locations and weather influences

The solution to the problem of Photonis is that Recreate and Photonis developed a Virtual Reality training simulation using the HTC Vive. In this training simulation, the user will suddenly find himself in a dark war situation after setting up the HTC Vive. By using Leap Motion Photonis can simulate all lunar phases, locations and weather influences with a realistic image of the Nightvision. The training has several night vision products, and it is possible to simulate what heavy light, for example from an explosion, can do with sight.
