The Anthony Veder Group was founded in 1937 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, as ship owner and port agent. In 1968, we started operating our first gas tankers. Nowadays we are involved in all segments of the liquified gas market.

Challenge
Anthony Veder contacted Recreate to help them roll-out Remote Assist and the HoloLens to multiple vessels. The biggest challenge they had was the continuously changing crew on a vessel, every 10 weeks a new crew boards the ship and potentially knowledge about the HoloLens will disembark.

Challenge
Anthony Veder contacted Recreate to help them roll-out Remote Assist and the HoloLens to multiple vessels. The biggest challenge they had was the continuously changing crew on a vessel, every 10 weeks a new crew boards the ship and potentially knowledge about the HoloLens will disembark.
Solution
Together with Anthony Veder, we developed a standard training package to assure all crew members can have a minimum degree of knowledge about the HoloLens 2 and Remote Assist. An extensive user manual, custom videos explaining the core features of the tool and Hololens and design of a campaign to create internal awareness for the HoloLens usage. Besides making the training for the crew also the Vessel Managers (located in Rotterdam) are trained in how to use the HoloLens and Remote Assist allowing them to also share this knowledge with the crew. The different business lines within Anthony Veder were also trained to show them the possibilities of the HoloLens 2 in combination with Remote Assist. This is to assure that they also know the potential and to stimulate them to use the HoloLens also in their process.
