Challenge

Thomas Regout International relies on an experienced but aging workforce, making knowledge transfer to new employees increasingly difficult. The process of assembling and disassembling tools for telescopic slide production is complex, labor intensive, and requires extensive training.

To address this, Thomas Regout partnered with Recreate to develop an IT system to capture toolmaker expertise and share it through the 3D work training platform. This solution will provide a visual, user friendly interface to minimize errors during the assembly of tools. These feature allow even those with limited technical knowledge to perform complex tasks which ensures efficiency even during periods of high demand.

Thomas Regout investigated other solutions in the past (such as projection), but these solutions did not meet the expectations. As such, this 3DX platform was chosen for its advanced capabilities and especially for the ideal integration with 3D models.
