Jumbo will incorporate the Microsoft HoloLens in it’s business processes and wants to give the customer insight into what working with a Microsoft HoloLens means. Ralph Jansen, application manager at Jumbo, says: “Now that we are close to making the HoloLens operational on our ships, we also wanted to use an app as a sales tool during the offshore energy exhibition. This allows us to show our customers what we are working on in this area.”
Through the project that Recreate has carried out for one of the top 6 players in the Dutch construction industry, Jumbo came into contact with Recreate. “Recreate has developed an app in a very professional manner and in a short period of time that fully meets the wishes of Jumbo,” says Ralph. Jumbo’s participation in the offshore exhibition was even more successful than in previous years. By presenting the newly built ship in Mixed Reality, more visitors were interested in the ship.
